Your task is to work on two of the topics that you've chosen from the recent Y8 Easter test.
The link to the mymaths spreadsheet is

And you need to follow the instructions to complete the mymaths tasks.
Good luck! Let me know if you have any problems.

Homework for Thurs 7th
Your homework is to produce a poster (or some ppt slides) about different measurements. You could look at:
Length
Weight
Capacity
Area
You could consider different conversions - e.g. an average elephant weighs..... kgs and then convert it into different units (e.g. stones, tonnes, grams etc)
I'd like some lovely colourful posters for display!

Work for today....
I've set you some mymaths topics to review the work that we've recently been doing in class (area of rectangles, triangles, parallelograms) before moving onto the work that we would have done today (area of a circle, circumference of a circle).
I've set the deadline to complete them by end of next week - so it would be good to spend some time on it today.
Email me at
sgilbert@thecooperschool.co.uk
if you have any problems, or if you've lost your mymaths password etc.
If you think its a question that could help everyone, post it on the blog!
